2009 Annual Meeting and New Steering Committee Members
Well our annual meeting has come and gone once again and we have four new members to our Steering Committee.
Tony Davenport, Jamie Weems, Shambe Jones, and George Miles will join with our continuing members Shondra Macklin, daniel johnson, Austin Richardson, and Amile Wilson to help further our mission throughout this year and next.

Good Participation in Fall Showcase!
Thanks so much to everyone who came to our 2nd Annual Jackson Arts Collective Fall Showcase! Over 220 Jacksonians came out to celebrate the diversity of our local art scene last Thursday in the back room of Hal n Mals. The space looked great thanks to the hard work of Darryl at Hal n Mal's and the Old House Depot off High Street. Collective Meetings
The Jackson Arts Collective Steering Committee meets at 6pm on the first Monday of each month at One to One Studios at 121 Millsaps Avenue. Everyone is welcome to listen, share, and suggest. The first Monday in May of each year we hold our annual meeting in which we present the progress of the past year, we elect new Steering Committee members, and we discuss our thoughts on the future.
